Recycling used guest room soap all over the world

Hotel guest room soap recycling programmes have been around a while but some new developments are worth noting.

The Clean the World campaign which started in USA is now represented in Hong Kong with the organisation reaching out to Sands in Macau and many hotels in Hong Kong. The Global Soap Project continues also into Asia with ties to Soap Recycling – an organisation set up by HK University. In Australia, Soap Aid has been launched in Australia by Concept Amenities to collect, recycle and deliver live saving soap to developing countries around the world.
